Payment
Payment can be made in two ways- either up front and in full, or time payments. This includes a non-refundable deposit of 25% of your order. This is not an extra charge but considered a part of the total payment. I will not begin painting until the 25% has been paid, and the model will not leave my studio until payment is completed in its entirety. This is to protect me from canceled orders to restock any used supplies and time spent holding the model. If you wish to cancel the order and ask for your model back I will do so, however, I will strip any work I had done. I will not let an unfinished or unpaid paintjob leave my studio.
I won’t request payment until the model is in my hands and you can see that it is safe/not damaged in shipping. I have had nothing but amazing experiences with buyers and my ordering process is very simple and pain-free! I will always take the time to make sure the model is exactly how you desire.
At this time, I only accept Payment via Paypal. I can send a detailed invoice, or you can send payment via Goods & Services. Please DO NOT send Friends & Family. It is not protected. Please do not worry about the fees, it is part of the protection and I am fully prepared for what they take from me.
What you need to know
- My prices do periodically increase. *As there is no longer a waitlist, quotes are not binding, only a reflection of the current price* Please understand that I will continue to evolve and learn new skills/techniques and I try to make sure my prices reflect my current skill. When current skill increases, so does price.
- I am not accepting drastic resculpting orders. I will however make sex changes, or lengthen/shorten manes and tails, or work of equal size. You will need to make this request known when you inquire for your order. These alterations will take sanding, filling, and/or epoxy. It must be done before I have begun painting.
- If you decide halfway through progress that you want markings or dapples etc added to your order, you will need to pay the charge before I do so. I will always do my best to accommodate your wishes, but please be understanding that some alterations will just simply be difficult to do and I may not be able to do so. PLEASE be certain of your plans before sending in to me.
- If your model needs extensive prepping please send It to a prep artist before-hand. I prep every model I receive at no extra charge, but I do not accept major breaks or extreme pin holes/bubbles etc. at this time as it will disrupt my scheduling. I do not offer stripping services at this time, if you would like a horse re-painted, please strip the horse before sending to me.
- I will paint dogs and other animals! Please contact me for a direct quote based on size and color.
I pride myself on constant communication and feedback between me and my clients. You will usually receive weekly update pictures as well as any questions I might have for you to best capture what you have visualized.
Pricing is as follows:
Traditional:
- $400 base price. This includes all solid coat colors.
- minimal marking (such as face markings, leg markings, small pinto spots) $3 each marking
- +$40 for dapples or reverse dapples
- +$40-50 for paint or appaloosa markings. This is a range due to how many different versions of these coats are out there. For example, a minimal tobiano would not be as expensive as a frame overo. This is based on time, and white paint needed as I have to make many layers of white. Please email me if you would like a direct quote. Please note if your Appy is varnish, I will be mixing the appy and hairing charge at my discretion after looking through your reference pictures.
- +$50 for hairing. This is for a roan horse, rabicano, rose grey, flea-bitten, loud sabino, varnish, etc.

Shipping– price will be calculated based on box size and weight after packing your model, as well as the additional insurance required for your model. Shipping will need to be paid before the model is sent out.
My packing includes wrapping the head in fabric (mummification) for ear protection when applicable, and an outer layer of bubble wrap for the head/tail or full body depending on shape of the sculpt, sewing the horse a silky pouch for paint protection, and finally creating two separate packing molds to secure the horse in one place. This mold redistributes pressure and weight around the model to minimize their risk in rough handling and is reusable if you ever resell the horse or need to pack them up safely for any reason. They also arrive in a custom printed box with my logo.
